Mentorship & People Development
Grounded in a comprehensive needs assessment, our strategic plan charts a path toward sustainable, high-impact mentorship throughout the DOM. By expanding support systems and fostering meaningful connections, we aim to empower faculty and trainees at every stage — from early career to leadership roles.
Key initiatives include expanding resources, hosting workshops and networking events, developing an AI-driven Mentor Match tool, and creating a centralized mentorship website. Together, these efforts will strengthen our mentorship community and support long-term career development across the department.
